Dorman Hendricks

Dorman Lee Hendricks, 77, of Hixson, passed away on Friday, Jan.14, 2011, in a local health care facility.He was of the Church of God faith and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the Korean War. Mr. Hendricks retired as a supervisor in 1990 from the Roper Corporation after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elliot and Maude Hendricks; brother, Jack Hendricks; sister, Swanee Richey and daughter, Cindy K. Frizzell.Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mary Ruth Raulston Hendricks; son, Kenny (Kim) Hendricks, of Hixson; brother, Ed (Junia) Hendricks, of Hixson; granddaughter, Jenny (Scott) Holloway, of Soddy-Daisy; and great-grandchildren, Abbie and Nate Holloway, of Soddy-Daisy.Services will be Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Wallace Angel officiating.Burial will follow at Dividing Ridge Church of God Cemetery.Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
