Janet McBirney-ChildsJanet Dean McBirney-Childs, 69, of Woodbury, Ga., died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, in Woodbury.She was the daughter of Marion McBirney, of Chattanooga.She is survived by her husband, Richard Childs, of Woodbury; two daughters, Ashley Wilmouth and Mary-Stuart Hoppmann; and five grandchildren, all of Suwanee, Ga.; and her brother, David McBirney, of Huntington, N.Y.She was a graduate of Chattanooga High School, and the University of Chattanooga.A memorial service will be held at Woodbury United Methodist Church in Woodbury, at 3 p.m. today, Jan. 15, and another service will be held in Charleston, S.C. on Sunday, Jan. 16, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church.Arrangements by SouthCare Cremation Society and Memorial Centers in Stockbridge. 770-692-1181.
