Mary Johnson

Mary Woodward Johnson, 83, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011.She was a resident of the Nashville area for many years before moving to the Chattanooga area six months ago.She will be remembered by her family as a generous and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. It always brought her a great deal of joy to give to those she loved.She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Clarence and Vona Woodward; five brothers, Ishmel, Norman, Luther, Billy and Buddy Woodward; and one sister, Alma Lee Duke.Survivors include a daughter, Margaret (Tom) Massey, Soddy-Daisy; son, T.J.(Anna) McKnight, Ovieda, Fla.; grandson, Mark (Kristine) Sproat, Ashland City, Tenn.; two granddaughters, Andrea (Alan) Bloodworth, Signal Mountain and Shannon McKnight, Fortuna, Calif. Eight great-grandchildren, Travis, Chelsea, Emma, Everette, Evan, Nathan, Camille and Katie.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made In Memory of Mary W.
