Ronald West

Ronald Eugene West, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 2011.He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga/North Georgia Area and was a member of Trenton Church of Christ. Ron was a retired truck driver of 20 plus years for Thompson Truck Lines and Rhino Express.He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Annie Ruth West; sisters, Iris Wilson and Janet Gardner; and brother, Robert West.Ron is survived by his wife, Brenda Sharp West; daughters, Sheila Culbert, Lisa Garrett, both of Trenton, and Christina Crews, of Missouri; sons, Kenny West, of Texas, and James West, of Bryant, Ala.; stepson, Kevin Killian, of Hixson; sister, Hazel Jenkins, of Chattanooga; brothers, Bearlin West, Steve West, both of Ooltewah, Harold West and Mike West, both of Trenton; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be noon Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David McDonald officiating.Interment will be 2:30 p.m./EST at Payne's Gap Cemetery, Ala.The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. today, Jan. 19, 2011 and prior to the service Thursday.Arrangements by W.L.
