CHATTANOOGA VALLEY Thelma Rae Hoover Williams, 87, passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 2011.She was born to the late Robert and Cleo Hoover on Jan. 11, 1924, on Woodbury, Tenn. Mrs. Williams was a member of Dry Valley Baptist Church, and she enjoyed volunteer work.She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Duke Williams Sr.; brother, Harold Lebron Hoover.Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Duke and Carolyn Williams, of Winston, Ga.; five grandchildren, Alyce Williams, Jill Fievet, Barrett, Evan and Joel Williams; five great-grandchildren, Lauren Williams, Mark, Timothy, Anna-Beth and Andrew Fievet.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. today in the funeral home chapel.Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.Online guestbook available at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
