McDONALD Jerry Wayne Hill, 71, passed away Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at his home. He was born Aug. 9, 1939, in Albertville, Ala., to the late L. D. and Christeen Hill. He was the owner and operator of Unique Auto Sales on South Lee Highway in McDonald.His brother, Jimmy L. Hill, preceded him in death.Survivors include his wife, Barbara "Bobbie" Hill; children, Barbara (Hoyt) Pell, of Cleveland; Michael (Donna) Hill, of McDonald; Amby (James) Forman, of McDonald; Timothy (Michelle) Hill, of South Carolina; Tommi Tyndall, of Knoxville; brothers, Larry D. Hill, of Douglas, Ala.; Tony L. Hill, of Cleveland, Ala.; sister, Monteen Herron, of Sneed, Ala.; grandchildren, Tiffany R. Hill, Mark W. Hill, John L. Pell, Matthew A. Pell, Misty W. Dewey, and Sarah M. Tyndall; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. in the Valley View Chapel with the Rev. Bill Broom and the Rev. Robert K. Schrader officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memory Gardens in Ringgold.
