Mary White

Mary White, 95, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011.Mary was a native of Chattanooga, the daughter of Hugh A. and Florence E. Childress White. She was a longtime faithful member of Highland Baptist Church and a graduate of Central High School and McKenzie Business School. Mary retired from Erlanger Childrens Unit at T.C. Thompson after 25 years as a nurse assistant.Surviving are her niece, Linda King, of Rossville; and cousins, Charles T. Childress, of Chattanooga, and Billy Childress, of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. today followed by Funeral Services at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
