EVENSVILLE Raymond Carl "R.C." Henderson, 82, passed away Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at the Rhea Medical Center.Born in Rhea County, R. C. was the son of the late George W. and Hazel Erwin Henderson. He was a farmer and retired from Suburban Manufacturing Co. R. C. was a member of the Texas Grove Baptist Church and Rhea Springs Lodge #310 F. & A.M.Survivors include his wife, Geneva Jiles Henderson, of Evensville; and daughters, Patty Henderson, of Evensville, and Donna (Tommy) Harwell, of Tracy City, Tenn.; grandchildren, Tammy (John) Chrostowski, of Signal Mountain and Shawn (Brandi) Harwell, of Monteagle, Tenn.; and six great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m at Texas Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Norman Huskey and the Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. The remains of R. C. Henderson will lie in state at the church one hour before services. Interment will follow in the Add Smith Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 5 to 8 p.m at the funeral home.Vaughn Funeral Home Spring City is in charge of arrangements.
