RINGGOLD William "Bill" Wright, 86, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at his home.Mr. Wright was retired from U.S. Pipe and held membership with the Woodmen of the World and the American Legion Post 400. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of New Haven Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Wright.Survivors are his wife of 59 years, Liz Wright; son, Alan (Sabina) Wright, Collegedale; daughter, Diana (Charles) Benson, Buena Vista, Ga.; two grandsons, Neil (Traci) Wright, Whitwell, Tenn., and Shawn Wright, Fort Oglethorpe.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Bill Ottinger officiating.Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort to the family.The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home, 3239 Battlefield Parkway, Fort Oglethorpe.
