Bobby Randolph

CLEVELAND Bobby L. "Bob" Randolph, USMC Retired, 79, went home to be with his Savior on Sunday evening, Jan. 23, 2011.He was born Nov. 11, 1931 in Chattanooga. His daughter, Donna Randolph-Riddle, preceded him in death eight months ago. He was also preceded in death by his loving father-in-law, Rev. Arnold Rayburn.He was retired from the United States Marine Corp after 27 years of dedicated service as a Master Gunnery Sergeant E-9. He had also retired from the Baylor School in 1996 and was a long time member and deacon at Way of the Cross Baptist Church in McDonald.He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Grace Randolph, of Cleveland; three sons, Michael David Randolph Sr., Richard Randolph, Cody Randolph, all of Cleveland; five grandchildren, Josh Randolph and Ashley Randolph, of Austin, Texas, Michael Randolph Jr. and Bobby Lee Randolph II, of Cleveland, Morgan Riddle, of Ashville, N.C.; four great-grandsons; two brothers, Dave Randolph and Chuck Randolph, both of Chattanooga; one sister, Vivian Wright, of Chattanooga; mother-in-law, Beulah Rayburn, of Rossville.A Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Way of the Cross Baptist Church with Rev. James Staton, Pastor Johnny Nix Jr. and John Earl officiating.Interment with military honors will follow at 2 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Michael Randolph Jr., Bobby Randolph II, Zac Stanfield, Heath Littrell Allen Dean and Ron Harris serving as pallbearers.The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. today at Way of the Cross Baptist Church, 3191 South Lee Highway, McDonald, TN 37353.Please view and sign the guestbook at www.jimrushfuneralhomes.com.Jim Rush Funeral Homes, North Ocoee Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
