Carol Lynn Sheppard, 59, of Ooltewah, departed this life on Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, in a local hospital.She was preceded in death by her parents, David Sr. and Louvenia Sheppard; and her brother, David Sheppard Jr.She is survived by her daughter, Brigette Lynn Chapman; sisters, LaVerne Ross, Cheryl (Charles) Rowe, Maxine Sheppard (Michael) Sanders and Deborah Sheppard; two granddaughters; special friend, Anthony Witherow; several nieces, nephews, a cousin, Frank Sheppard Jr.Funeral services will be at noon Thursday in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Adrian Billingsley officiating.Burial: Highland Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
