Frederick Dickerhoff

Frederick Irwin Dickerhoff, 78, Apison, passed away Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, in a local hospital.He was retired from McKee Foods and a member of Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church.Survivors are his wife, Phyllis Dickerhoff; son, Michael Alan Dickerhoff and wife, Betsy, New Market, Va.; daughter, Michelle Marie Miles and husband, Greg, McDonald, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Kristin Dickerhoff, Natalie Dickerhoff, Emily Dickerhoff, Nathan Dickerhoff, Trevor Miles, Garrett Miles; brother, Dallas Dickerhoff, Deland, Fla.; sisters, Mariam Slack, Longwood, Fla., and Clara Cole, Charlotte, N.C.Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dwight Herod officiating.Interment will follow in Collegedale Memorial Park.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort to the family.Memorial contributions may be to Chattanooga Nature Center, 400 Garden Road, Chattanooga, TN 37415.The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
