ROSSVILLE Billy Ray Tucker, 63, departed this life Thursday, June 30, 2011, at his home.Billy worked for Southern Champion Trays for 15 years, and was preceded in death by his father, Walter Tucker; and son, David Tucker.Survivors include his wife, Kathy Tucker, of Rossville; mother, Hazel Tucker, of Tiftonia; stepchildren, Mickey Castleberry, of Rossville, Terri (David) Williams, of Flintstone; siblings, Buddy Tucker, Wanda Kelley, both of Tiftonia, Barbara English, of Fort Oglethorpe; grandchildren, Taylor and Sarah Williams; and several nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Word of Faith Tabernacle in Rossville with the Rev. Dawlon Conkle officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Walker County Animal Shelter.Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
