Cynthia Ann Block, 56, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2011.Cynthia was a member of Rivermont Presbyterian Church.She was preceded in death by her father, Carroll H. Brown.Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Block; mother, Anne Brown, of Chattanooga; three children, Brent (Amanda) Thompson, of Knoxville; Kellye (Jason) Fowlkes, of Knoxville and Alex Thompson, of Chattanooga; two grandchildren; Logan Fowlkes and Pearl Thompson; three stepchildren, Jessica Block (Jay) Ewart, of Washington, DC, Katie Block, of Colorado and Caroline Block, of Chattanooga; brother, Cary Brown, of Loudon, Tenn.; sisters, Jennifer Weiss, of California and Donna Mattice, of Signal Mountain.A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 8, at Rivermont Presbyterian Church.
