Ella Myers

Ella Pittman Myers, 87, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011, at her residence.A resident of the Chattanooga area for most of her life, she was a nurses aide at Hamilton County Nursing Home for over 20 years and of the Church of God faith.She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. Dal Rayford Pittman Sr.; second husband, Dewey Myers; daughter, Sharon Wynn; and parents, A.C. and Sarah Elizabeth Eaves Morton.She is survived by four children, Dal Rayford Pittman Jr. (Charlotte) of Knoxville, Ronald David Pittman of East Ridge, Linda Aaron (Tommy) of East Ridge, and Alice Clinton (Jimmy), of East Ridge; one sister, Odell Tankersley, of Fairview, Ga.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Lloyd Walraven officiating.Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
