Harold Belcher

Harold Alvin Belcher, 74, of Harrison, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at his home.Harold served his country in the U.S. Air-Force and went on to retire as an Air Traffic Controller.He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Royce and Mary Belcher; his wife, Elizabeth Jane Belcher.He is survived by his two sons, David H. Belcher, of Mount Juliet, Tenn., and Steven (Sheri) Belcher, of Cartersville, Ga.; two grandchildren, Jamey and Andrew; two great-grandchildren, Zackery and Maddison; several cousins; and very special friends, Bill and Walter and their families.Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Chaplain Dwayne Riden officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are by Turner Funeral Home Inc., Highway 58 Chapel 622-3171.
