Bobby LeRoy Surrett, 70, a native of White Pine, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 30, 2011.LeRoy was a beloved husband, father, and papaw; a godly man who leaves a great legacy. He was known as a man with a great sense of humor and a lavishly generous spirit.He was employed by the Chattanooga Times for 14 years and WDEF Radio for 25 years where he won multiple awards for his achievement in advertising sales. He was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church for 47 years.He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Martha; three daughters, Leslie Wilson (Tony), Cristi Beckner (David), and Kerri Latil (David), and two grandsons, Tim and Daniel Wilson, all of Chattanooga.Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. today, July 3, 2011, in the East Brainerd Chapel with Dr. Tony L. Wilson and the Rev.
