Sr.Almer Jack Hickman Sr., 85, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011.He was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and loved to deer hunt.He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Avonelle Hickman; grandchildren, Amy Puryear, Stacey Ratcliff Jr., Mark Ratcliff Jr.He is survived by his children, Wilma (Mickey) McClure, of Dayton, Jack (Beverly) Hickman Jr., Eva (Ronnie) Morris, Kay (Ken) Hobbs, all of Soddy-Daisy; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; three sisters; several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Heddrick officiating.Interment will follow the service at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.Family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
