CHICKAMAUGA Larry L. Smith, 48, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at his residence.He was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga where he graduated from Gordon Lee High School in 1980. He was of the Church of Christ faith.Survivors include his daughter, Katie Camille Smith (Christopher) Holt, of Panama City, Fla.; loving and caring fiance, Rita Gant, of Chickamauga; parents, Nate and Vera Smith, of Fort Oglethorpe; brother, Dale (LeeAnn) Smith, of Signal Mountain; nephew, Colin Andrew Smith, of Signal Mountain; and several aunts and cousins.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Lafayette Memory Gardens with Mark Bigley officiating.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
