Mickey Parker

JASPER Mike F. "Mickey" Parker Jr., passed away , Friday, May 6, 2011.Mr. Parker was a retired employee of the Marion County Highway Department, having work there for 27 years. He was a member of Havron's Chapel Church. He was past Master of the Masonic Olive Branch Lodge 297, Alhambra Shrine and the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Madeline and Mike F. Parker Sr.; grandmother, Beulah Piercy and grandfather, Carter Neoll.He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Quarles and son, Michael Alvin Parker, both of Jasper; granddaughter, Savannah Parker, Salt Lake City, Utah; brother and sister-in-law, Malcolm and Sandy Parker, Jacksonville, Ark. ; aunt, Peggy Morgan, Dunlap, Tenn.; niece and nephew, Monica and Shawn Underwood and great-niece and nephew, Madison and Cole Underwood, all of Kansas, as well as various cousins.The family will receive friends at Havron's Chapel Church from 10 am until 2 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2011. A masonic service will be held at the graveside in Havron's Chapel Cemetery 2 p.m. CDT followed by the funeral service, with the Rev. Jim Diehl officiating.
