Emily Price

Emily Price, 86, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011.She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was a former member of Fourth Avenue Church of God. She enjoyed talking politics, playing cards, laughing, and following the Atlanta Braves. Her passions in life were her son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchild.Survivors include her son Donald (Peggy) Price, of Birchwood; three sisters, Inez Ingram, of Chattanooga, Lilly Mae Brookshire, of Chattanooga, and Juanita Moore, of Fort Oglethorpe; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.Donations may be made to Avalon Hospice at 7625 Hamilton Park Drive #19, Chattanooga, TN 37421.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
