Luda Massey

ROSSVILLE Luda Chastain Massey, 88, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011.She was born to the late Hosea and Molly Miller Chastain in Chattanooga. Mrs. Massey was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church, a former employee of Richmond Hoisery Mill, and she loved to play the piano and travel to many churches singing with her brother and sister.She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Massey; brothers, Andrew and Tom Chastain.Survivors include her sister, Stella Hale, of Rossville; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011.Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. today and prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.The family would like to extend a special thanks to NHC of Fort Oglethorpe and Hospice of Chattanooga for your excellent care and compassion.Arrangements are by W.L.
