Howard Lloyd "Dabber" Harvey, 68, of Hixson, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011. He was a longtime resident of Falling Water and was of the Church of God Faith. He loved working and NasCar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick Cecil and Minnie Belle Harvey; brothers, Harley, Kenneth, R.C. and Ernest Harvey. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Betty Sue Harvey; Donald (Adrea) Harvey, of Hixson; grandson, Matthew Harvey, of Falling Water, Ronnie (Rose) Harvey, of Macomb, Mich.; sisters, Bonnie Massengale, of Red Bank, Jessie Williams, of Nashville, Mary Harris, Susan Kimsey, both of Evensville; stepmother, Gertrude Harvey Sutton ,of Evensville.Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor William Smith Jr. officiating. Interment will follow the service at Levi Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. today and 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
