Ashley Boynton

Ashley Noel Boynton, 25, of Hixson, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011. A native of Alpena, Michigan, she lived in Hixson for seven years. She was an active member of Stanley Independent Baptist Church where she served as a Youth Group Leader. Ashley worked as an office assistant for several years at the Hixson Dental Group. She was an avid Detroit Lions fan and enjoyed rollerblading, bicycling and swimming. Ashley was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth and Blanche Hunt, Lois Herbert and Ken Watson. Survivors include her husband of three years, Chris Boynton; mother and step-father, Patti and Tim Wheaton, of Soddy-Daisy; father and step-mother, Randy and Carol Hunt, of Hillman, Mich.; brothers, Andrew (Brittany) Hunt, Zachery Wheaton, Kenny Losee, Mike Tyler, Chris Tyler; sisters, Tiffany Hunt and Carrie Tyler; grandparents, Frank and Mary Wheaton, David and Evie Herbert and Shirley Watson; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins along with her kids in the Youth Group at Stanley Independent Baptist Church.Services will be Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Shawn Meade officiating. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
