Gerald Brumlow

Samuel Gerald Brumlow, 57, of Chattanooga died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011. He was born June 30, 1954, in Chattanooga the son of the late Lloyd Samuel and Ruth Evelyn Brumlow and was also preceded in death by brothers, Tommy Brumlow and David Brumlow; sister, Carol Lewis. Mr. Brumlow was always willing to help anyone in need. He really enjoyed being Papaw to his grandchildren and especially loved watching his grandson, Ramsey, play baseball; he was a big UT fan. Mr. Brumlow worked for 30 years in the elevator industry. He was a member of Elizabeth Terrace Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Vickie Brumlow; sons, Jason (Ashwaq) Moore and Adam (Becky) Brumlow; grandchildren, Ramsey Brumlow and Reese Brumlow; sister, Jeanne Russell; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
