Zella Paradise

ROSSVILLE Zella Jane McLemore Paradise, 88, passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011. She was born in Scottsboro, Ala., but has lived in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas for most of her life and was of the Church of God faith. She was previously employed with Parkwood Nursing Home as a CNA for many years and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Paradise; son, Larry Paradise and sister, Sue Wilds.Survivors include her five children and their spouses, Linda and (Floyd) Capps, of California, John Paradise, of Rossville, Ga., Billy and (Teresa) Paradise, of Ringgold, Ga., Mary and (Eddie) Seay, of Rossville, Ga., and Bobby Paradise, of Rossville, Ga.; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Brother Lamar Dietz officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens. The family will begin receiving friends from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and prior to the service on Tuesday. Arrangements by W. L.
