Dorris Elfreda Brown, 88, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at a local hospital.She was employed at Van Heusen.She was preceded in death by her husband, Richmond Brown; siblings, Quintus Smith Jr., Mary Frances Thomas and Daisy Sheldon.Survived by her son, Romeo Brown Sr.; grandchildren, Romeo Brown Jr., Melva Brown, Michelle Robinson, Keishana "Kiki" Brown; nieces, nephews and special friends Alfredia Brown.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Oct. 9, 2011, in the chapel with Elder Jonas Butts officiating.Interment at 10 a.m. Monday at National Cemetery.
