CHICKAMAUGA Dr. Waclav "Walter" James Constantine Jagiella, 77, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011.He was born in Chicago, Ill., to the late Waclav and Anna Noviski Jagiella. He had previously resided in Rome, Ga., before moving to Chickamauga, where he had resided for the past 15 years. He had been a practicing physician for over 44 years. He was in general practice and bariatrics in Rome and Chickamauga. He was a member of St. Geralds Catholic Church in Fort Oglethorpe. He was a member of the American Medical Association and an avid member of the Republican Party.He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Edward Jagiella.Survivors include his wife, Audrone Kulikausakite Jagiella, of Chickamauga; his children, Waclav Jagiella, Valarie Jagiella, Natalie Jagiella, Agathe Jagiella, Cecile "Agnes" Jagiella, Aleksandra Jagiella, Elizabeth Devery-Marquess, Victoria Jagiella; brother, John James Jagiella, of Hebron, Ind.; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Oct. 9, 2011, in the chapel with Minister and state Rep.
