Lorene Morris

Lorene C. Morris, 101, currently of Soddy-Daisy, died at her daughter's home on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011. Lorene lived most of her life in Robertson County, Tenn., with the exception of the last five years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt Rice Morris; her oldest daughter, Sue Morton; her parents, Oscar and Tommie Choate and all seven of her younger siblings. Lorene leaves behind two daughters, Jane (Malcolm) from Hana, Maui, and Judy (Jerry) Corbin, from Soddy-Daisy, Tenn.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Martin Boyd Christian Center, Morning Pointe Assisted Living, Dr. Donald Zeigler and Cares Hospice for their love and care of Lorene during her time in the Chattanooga area.
