Myrtle Harris

Myrtle Ann Womac Harris, 74, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011, in a local hospital.Myrtle attended Chattanooga City High School, Retired from Humphrey's Flowers after over 30 years of service, She was of the Baptist faith, and much beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.Myrtle is preceded in death by her parents, James and Leoma Womac. daughter Debbie Lynn Harris. brother James Womac Jr.Myrtle is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles "Red" Harris; daughters, Yvonne Burroughs and Diane(John)Barker; sister, Shirley Henry; grandchildren, Missy (Randy) Douglas, Matt (Mary) Johnson, Renee (Mike) Blevins, Jeremy Barker, Stephanie Gibson, Jesse Highfield, and Erika Burroughs; great-grandchildren, Walker, Wyatt, Cheyenne Douglas, Samantha, Michael, Kaylee Johnson, Brianna and Brittany Blevins, Lane, and Emma Barker, Hayden Highfield; sister-in-law, Helen (Billy) Harris Choate; many nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at the Kings Point Baptist Church with the Rev.
