Douglas Franklin Dodd, 66, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012, at the Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Ala.Douglas was born in Cleveland, Tenn., to the late James Clarence Dodd Sr and Thelma Bradshaw Dodd.He was preceded by his brother, James "Jim" Clarence Dodd Jr.He is survived by his daughters, Shannon Dodd, of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Ashley (Patrick) Kelly, of Asheville, N.C. He is also survived by three grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Patricia Dodd, of Cleveland, Tenn.; niece, Lori (Todd) Cozart, of Chattanooga; and nephew Craig Dodd, of Atlanta.
