Lamar Brumlow

Lamar "Buddy" Brumlow, 76, of Chattanooga, Tenn. passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he was a member of the Sherman Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Kraft Foods. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Collegedale V.F.W. Post #1697.The son of the late Bill and Alma Cannon Brumlow, he was also preceded in death by a grandson, Steven L. Brumlow and two sisters, Jessie L. Wolfe and Betty Bales. Survivors include his wife, Fran Willoughby Brumlow; daughter, Staci Wheeler, Rossville, Ga.; two sons, Billy (Donna) Brumlow, Chattanooga and Steve (Debbie) Brumlow, Harrison; six grandchildren, Ryan, Andy, Tyler, Emily, Alexis and Matthew; three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Naikya and Ava; sister, Linda (Carl) Yoder, Chattanooga; brother, Larry (Marsha) Brumlow, Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Pastor Chris Hayes officiating.Interment will be in Lakewood Memory East. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. Monday before the service at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
