Paul Bohanon

ROSSVILLE Paul Fred "RIP" Bohanon, 85, departed this life Friday, March 30, 2012.He was born in Chickamauga, Ga., to the late Frank & Olah Bohanon, and served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during WWII, and was owner/operator of Bohanon Auto Parts.Fred was a member of Elizabeth Lee Methodist Church in Chickamauga. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mayre Lou Boddy Bohanon, brothers, Jerry "Butch", Don, and Felix Bohanon.The family would like to thank Heritage Health Care for their love and care of their father for the last nine years.Survivors include his children, Paula Guest, of Rossville; Starr Thomison, Randy Bohanon, Donald Bohanon, all of Chickamauga; brother, Bob Frank Bohanon of Chickamauga; Doris Bryant of Atlanta; 12 grandchildren; 1 great -grandson; and several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, at Chattanooga National Cemetery. Family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Monday and prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
