Anna Ford

DUNLAP Anna Elizabeth Tibbs Ford, 67, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012. She was raised in Dunlap, Tenn. and later moved to Signal Mountain where she worked as office manager and head technician at Signal Mountain Veterinary Clinic for 40 years. Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Odell Lockhart Tibbs; and brother, Tommy Tibbs. Survivors include her husband, Wellington W. Ford Jr., D.V.M.; children, Shannon McCallie and Susan Griffith; stepchildren, Will Ford, Stephanie Smith, and Andrea Ford; sister, Nancy Andrews; grandchildren, Katie and Morgan Hubbard, Walker and Ashley Griffith, Ford and Luke Smith, and Stina and Wilder Ford. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. CDT Wednesday, May 2, in Ewton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Gooden officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation, 4 - 7 p.m. CDT Tuesday May 1. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
