Herschel Whitton, 84, of East Ridge, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012.Mr. Whitton was a member of Brainerd Baptist and was preceded in death his wife of 63 years, Gaynell Whitton. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday May 7, at the funeral home.Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday May 8, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist. 404 South Moore Road.
