AllenMarlinAllen S. Marlin, 85, of Chattanooga passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at his home.He served in the U.S. Army during WWII; was a charter member of the Zoning Board of East Ridge; member of the American Welding Society; Member of the American Legion and past member of the American Legion Forty & Eight Society. He was employed with Chattanooga Boiler and Tank Co. for 37 years as vice president, and retired from Copelands Inc. as Sales Manager after 21 years of service. He was also active in the Golf Community for 65 years and was a member of Creeks Bend Golf Club since 1968, and attended Jones Memorial UMC.He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Nancy Marlin; his first wife, Velma Marlin; brothers, Jack and Bill Marlin.Survivors include his wife Dimple Wilkes Marlin; daughter, Chris (Randy) Treadwell; son, Mike Marlin; stepsons, Gary (Lisa) Wilkes, and Randy (Paula) Wilkes; grandchildren, Kim (Steve) Garland, Nicki (Bradley) Maiser, Mallory (Josh) Hardeman, Savanna Wilkes, Abby Sullivan, Travis Sullivan, Richard (Sarah) Wilkes, Michael (Taeler) Wilkes, Andrew Wilkes, Karen and Olivia Richardson; great-grandchildren, Christin Garland, Ava Maiser and Lydia Hardeman; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Dial and Rev.
