Danny Cummings

Danny Lynn Cummings, 63, of Lookout Valley, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012.He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was of the Baptist faith. He was previously employed with Tri-State Bowling for more than 12 years as a technician and truly enjoyed his work. He was a Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War and served with the Military Police. He was a loving son and brother who will be greatly missed by all that knew him.He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Cummings; and his mother, Grace White.Survivors include his step-father, Harold White, of Rossville; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken Killingsworths, David (Sharon) Cummings, all of Lookout Valley, Bob (Sue) Cummings, of Ashville, N.C. and Billy (Pam) Killingsworth, of Crawfordville, Fla.; sister and brother-in-law, Judy (Johnny) Huckabee, of Lookout Valley; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel.The family will begin receiving friends after 3 p.m. Sunday and prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.Arrangements by W.L.
