Timothy Johnson

Timothy A. Johnson, 46, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, after a lengthy illness.He was a veteran of the US Navy.His father, James E. Johnson Jr., preceded him in death.He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Cynthia Brummitt and stepfather, Alfred Brummitt; brother, Jamaal Brummitt and sister, Kenyetta (Sean) Tucker; four children, Indiyah Johnson, Timia Mobley Johnson, Xaivera Shropshire and Diamonte Mobley; grandchild, Nevaeh Shropshire; five aunts; nieces, Annette Archie and Nayah Brumette; nephews, Ahmad Brumette and Dakota Archie; host of other relatives and his loving mate, Vickie Parris.The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, in the chapel. Interment in National Cemetery at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2012.The body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 6 7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
