Charles Quarles

Charles A. Quarles, 82, of Hixson, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, in a local hospital.Charles was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired city of Chattanooga Police officer with 26 years of service.Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Virginia Quarles; daughters, Dianne Quarles, of Nashville and Mary Quarles, of East Ridge; son, Tony (Ramona) Quarles, of Hixson; brother, Raymond (Opal) Quarles, of Hixson; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held at Lane Funeral Home.
