Jackie Drew

Jackie Drew, 87, of Jasper, Tenn., went home peacefully to be with the Lord and her family members on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012.A former resident of Lookout Valley, Jackie was an active member of Lookout Valley Baptist Church, the Reapers Sunday School Class and other activities at the church. She was a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts in Lookout Valley and was a substitute teacher at John A. Patton Elementary School for many years. Jackie has been a longtime resident of Jasper and is currently a member of Jasper First Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Bill" Drew Sr.; and a son, William E. "Butch" Drew Jr.Jackie is survived by her daughter, Susan (Raye) Shankles and daughter-in-law, Wanda Cawthan; grandchildren, Julie (Rod) Finnegan, Kelly (Jeremy) Field, Ashley Shankles and Andrew (Rachel) Shankles; great-grandchildren, Chris and Olivia Finnegan and Wilkes and David Field; sisters, Ophelia Blake and Lillian Scoggins; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. EDT on Friday and noon to 1 p.m. EDT on Saturday at the North Chapel.Services for Jackie will be held at 1 p.m. EST on Saturday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev.
