Jayne McBride

Jayne Edwina McBride, 92, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at her home.She was born Oct. 9, 1919 in White County, Tenn., to the late John E. and Hester Pruitt McBride.She was a member of Ashland Terrace Christian Church and was retired from American National Bank after 26 years of service.Her husband, James O. McBride; and son, James Donald McBride; and four sisters preceded her in death.Survivors include her granddaughter, Elizabeth Mack, of Twin Falls, Idaho; her adopted daughter, Janice Hendricks, of Rossville; three great-grandsons, Gregory Mack, of Kingman, Ariz., Aaron Mack, of Austin, Texas, Lucas Mack of Twin Falls, Idaho; and one great-great-granddaughter, Nikaya Mack, of Lewisport, Ky.Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Chattanooga Memorial Park with Pastor Brad McDowell officiating.There will be no visitation at the funeral home.The family extends a special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga for all of the loving and caring providers.Memorial contributions may be made to the McKamey Animal Shelter, 4500 North Access Road, Chattanooga, TN 37415; or Ashland Terrace Christian Church, 915 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.ChattanoogaNorthChapel.com.Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
