Syble Turner

KINGSTON, Tenn. Syble Louise (Adkison) Turner, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday Aug. 18, 2012 at Parkwest Medical Center. A member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church for over 50 years, she loved her church family and her Roses. Mrs. Turner was a retired book keeper. Preceded in death by her husband William Murry Turner; daughter Margaret Anne Evans; son in law George W. Evans; great granddaughters Lucie and Julia Bursley.Survivors include, daughters Sandra T. White and husband David, of Signal Mountain, Tenn., Jane LeBlanc and husband Bob, of Bellevue, Neb., Sue T. Mayer and husband Don, of Panama City Beach, Fla.; Aunt, Mary Ruth Turner, of Columbus, Ga.; Sister, Myrtle Bethea, of Leesburg, Fla.; Brother, Rev. Alcus Adkison and wife Betty, of Marianna, Fla.; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews; beloved dogs Sadie and Bonnie.The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m. Thursday Aug. 23, at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church. The Funeral will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Phillip Martin and Rev. Alcus Adkison officiating. Burial in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions maybe made to the Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund 405 Old Johnston Valley Road Kingston, TN. 37763.
