ROSSVILLE C.J. Collis "Chuck", 86, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012.He was a native of Morganton, Ga., he served his country in United States Army during World War II, and he retired from Royal DeSoto.Survivors include his loving wife Evelyn Collis; children; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association at Alzheimers Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the South Crest Chapel with the Rev. Jim Bennett officiating.Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors provided by the VVA Chapter 203.The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. today at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
