Cecil G. Lawson, 78, of Chattanooga, completed his earthly journey Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012.He retired from Southern Centrifigul.He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Lou Ann; two daughters, Denise (Johnny Padgett) and Lori (Ray) Morris; five grandchildren, Jennifer Beard, Travis Morris, Matthew Morris, Nathan Morris and Becka Padgett; four great-grandchildren, Desi, Gaige, Jillian and Elizabeth Morris; three sisters, Ruby Waller, Dean Ritchie and Betty Dennis; two brothers, Elmer Lawson and Carl Lawson; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Reverend William Dick officiating.
