Malcolm Blair

KINGSTON Malcolm C. Blair, 83, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at the Renaissance Terrace.He was retired from TVA as an assistant plant manager; an avid golfer, he was part owner of the Lakeside golf course; loved gardening and working in the yard; and attended the First Baptist Churches in Rockwood and Kingston. He had a very generous nature who loved his family and friends.Preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Blair; a 12 year old daughter, Vicki Blair; brothers, Hershel, J.W. and Johnny Blair; sisters, Sybil Lowery and Gladys Henderson.Survivors include: daughters, Mary Jo (Terry) Jones, of Clarksville, Janet (Bob) Krause, of Chattanooga; grandson, Randy Lemons; brother, Franklin Blair; sisters, Linda Denton, Carolyn Skidmore, Frances Plott and Juanita Cooper.Funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, in the chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Charles Kelley officiating.Interment will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Roane Memorial Gardens with full military honors by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard.The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary.Donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at www.cff.org or to the Brain Injury Association of Tennessee at www.braininjurytn.org An online register is available at www.evansmortuary.biz.
