WHITWELL Virginia Odell Belk Richardson, 83, went home to be with her Lord and family, Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012.She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie A. Richardson, parents, James Albert and Edith Kilgore Belk, and a brother, James C. Belk.She is survived by her sons, C.A. (Carolyn) Richardson Jr. and James (Brinda) Richardson, of Whitwell, Bobby (Clema) Richardson and Eddy (Robin) Richardson, of Jasper; brother, Joe Belk, Crown Point, Ind.; sister, Louise Lowrey, Jasper; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CDT Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, with Brother Dennis Kilgore and Brother Chris Kilgore officiating.Interment will follow in Laynes Chapel Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 1 until 9 p.m. today, Aug. 23, and Friday, Aug. 24.To send online condolences visit www.tatefh.com.Arrangements by Tate Funeral Home, Jasper, Tenn., 423-942-9500.
