Scott Gibson

Scott Gibson, 35, passed away on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, as the result of a brain aneurism.Born Thomas Scott Gibson, May 16, 1977 in Chattanooga, Scott confessed his faith in Christ and joined the Methodist Church at the age of 10. He graduated from CSAS High School in 1995. Before moving to New York in 2009, he lived in Knoxville, Sequoyah National Park, Seattle and Chicago.Scott had an extraordinary humor, intellect and kind heart. His decision to be an organ donor is giving new life to others, including two children.Scott was a gifted writer and musician. He performed as a singer, drummer, guitarist and composer in various groups and genres. His zeal for life led him into activities ranging from sailing with his Dad around Florida to snowboarding, chasing bears from the lodge at Sequoyah Park, rock climbing, and traveling to Europe and the Caribbean.
