Don Ellis Williams, 53, passed away at his Signal Mountain home, Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 after an extended illness.He was preceded in death by his mother, Dora Lee Meeks; father, Willie Williams; sisters, Virginia Reed and Janie White; brother, Glen Williams.Don leaves behind his wife, Kathryn Williams; son, Glenn Williams, both of Signal Mountain; daughter, Ashley (Tony) Blount; granddaughter, Delaney and step-daughter, Heather Cagle all of Hixson. He also leaves behind 5 sisters; Bille Ann Johnson, Shirley (Sam) Samaniego of Knoxville, Joyce (Bill) King, Florence (Donald) Freeman and Marilyn Steakley all of Chattanooga.Don was a good man and will be missed by all who knew him.Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
