Marilyn Dickerson

Marilyn S. Dickerson, 80, of Hixson, Tenn., passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012. She was a member of the Burks United Methodist Church. Ms. Dickerson retired from the Hamilton County Department of Education and also as a Secretary for Judge Clarence Shattuck in Hamilton County Session Court. She was an avid University Of Tennessee Sports Fan.She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Dickerson.Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John andVickie Dickerson; grandsons, Brian and Matt Dickerson; great-grandchildren, Brynley, Brezden and Josie Dickerson.Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
