Raymond Johnson

Raymond Lee Johnson, 82, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012. He was a member of the Daisy Church of God and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Raymond retired from Mynatt Dental Lab after 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Johnson; parents, Henry and Iva Mae Johnson and a son, Raymond Lee Johnson, Jr.Survivors include his son, Alan (Kathy) Johnson, of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Diane Seals of Guntersville, Ala.; brothers, Russell Johnson, Burl Johnson, Carl Johnson and Ed Johnson all of Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Gladys Frizzell and Grace Watts, both of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Dawn Cleveland, Chris Johnson, Tim Johnson, Michelle Rojas and Heather Johnson and 9 great grandchildren.Services will be Friday, Dec. 7, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Sam Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with military honors. The Gideon's Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation is Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 4 to 9 p.m. and after 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6, at the funeral home.
